- We are currently looking for a Food Safety Regulatory Monitoring Officer for Asia-Pacific region. The position will be based in Pune, India and will report to the Food Safety Regulatory Monitoring and Compliance Manager.
- The main responsibility will be to manage Regulatory Monitoring within Food Safety areas of Food contact material, Food law, Hygienic design, package safety in Processing Solution & Equipment, Services and Packaging Solutions businesses to secure Customer food safety production in compliance with Tetra Pak policies and strategies.
- Food Safety Officers (FSOs) are responsible for analyzing food samples gathered from different places for examination. These professionals examine if there is any suspicious or hazardous material in the ingredients or the food product ensuring the safety of consumers. Depending on the inspection result, these experts can issue a notice to the seller, distributor, or manufacturer of the product for the consumption of harmful ingredients or food products.
- Other duties of an FSO include random inspection at the food industry, restaurants, and hotels for assuring that all the guidelines and safety regulations are followed during the product preparation and for checking their food items.
Tetra Pak Recruitment 2022 – Eligibility Criteria
- At least 8-10 years of work experience in Food Safety, regulatory and compliance.
- Full time University Degree in Engineering, Food Technology, Law field
- Must have deep knowledge of India food safety regulations, especially food contact material regulation
- Understanding of food safety regulations of countries in Asia-Pacific countries would be beneficial
- Food Safety Law experiences in Liquid Food Packaging, Processing
- Advanced user of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
