- Youll be working in the Liquidity and Funding Modelling team based in Zurich (Opfikon) or London.You are highly responsible for the design and development of regulatory and internal liquidity and also funding risk models deployed within UBS and its entities, as well as their maintenance and continuous improvement. These models are used to determine the company funding and liquidity needs for UBS Group, and key entities globally, and to charge liquidity and funding costs to the respective businesses. Our team closely collaborates with the IT department, the reporting team, functional (business) experts and the treasury teams across the globe
UBS Recruitment 2022 – Eligibility Criteria
- Have a university degree in, mathematics, statistics, economics, quantitative finance, natural sciences or a related quantitative discipline
- Possess strong analytical skills along with the ability to apply quantitative techniques to solve practical problems
- Have basic knowledge of financial markets and banking
- Possess strong communication skills and the ability to explain technical topics clearly and intuitively
- Have an experience in treasury related projects is a plus
- Must be proficient in basic MS Office applications and traditional database accesses (e.g. SQL for Oracle)
- Must be proficient in one or more programming syntaxes such as Python (PySpark), or Scala
- Have to open to absorb UBS specific business and system knowledge
- Must be able to work under pressure and find pragmatic solutions when confronted with incomplete data
